Impossible to remove!

Got a sample in my Ipsy bag. I tried my Makeup Eraser, coconut oil, baby oil, my DHC cleansing oil, and micellar water...NOTHING would remove this mascara! My left eye is spidery and I guess that is just how it’s going to be indefinitely! I can’t stand going to bed with mascara on, so I don’t appreciate not being able to take it off.

I concur with the other reviews I am seeing. I got the sample from Ipsy and I am always excited to try new mascara to find the best one. This is not it! I put it on Aug. 26 and tried to remove it Aug. 26. Micellar water didn't work, warm water and soap didn't work, two name brand makeup removers didn't work, and I wash my face in the morning and before bed, I still have mascara on and it is Aug. 29. It didn't bother my eyes the first day but it is bothering them now. They itch, the eyelashes ache because I have rubbed them so much, and they are a bit red. I would say this mascara is now right up there with the Twinkie, and cockroaches, as the only things that will survive apocalypse.

GAVE ME A STYE!

At first I thought I loved this mascara. I got it in my monthly IPSY bag and I’ve been looking for a great waterproof mascara for my wedding weekend. It passed the test in terms of not budging. However, I left it on overnight, and I was left with  a huge stye in my eye for my bachelorette weekend! I also concur with the other reviews that I really had to scrub hard to get the makeup off. I definitely don’t recommend this product.

Won’t come off

It’s a nice colour and works well until you want to remove it. Eye makeup remover, baby shampoo, soap, and face scrub and it’s STILL visible. I’m not sure if this is even great for lashes unless they sell a special formula eye makeup remover with the mascara.

REALLY waterproof

I kept this mascara on for 3 days (I’m gross I know) and i cried at least 5-7 times within that time watching a sad show. The mascara did not smear one bit. It made my lashes longer than any other mascara.  However... once those 3 days finally came to an end I couldn’t remove the mascara for my life. I used both liquid and wipe makeup remover and tried soap and water and I lost so many eyelashes. I could never fully remove it. I don’t recommend this mascara if you’d like to keep your lashes.

Doesn’t budge

I am not joking when I say this mascara literally will not move. Like at all. I’ve gone to the beach, pool, sad movies and a car accident and it never so much as smudged. It stays on so well that I don’t even bother to try taking it off, it’ll come off on its own in about three days. It looks very nice too, I think it even rivals benefit’s roller lash.  If you need a mascara that literally will not move but still looks good, this is the one.

Doesn’t come off.

I have tried many many mascaras and while I can say this one holds true to what it says (I work on a dairy farm and let me tell you, mascara never stay on my lashes. ) it works TOO well. I spent 45 minutes in the shower and 25 before that scrubbing my eyelashes trying to get this product off. Half my lashes are gone and there’s STILL mascara on my lashes.

100% Waterproof

I received a trial size in my monthly Ipsy bag, and let me tell you it is definitely waterproof, I did my normal routine with taking my makeup off, this stuff would not come off for anything, i tried everything and just ended up with clumps on my lashes and red eyes. I will only use this if I am going out, but other than that, it will not be my daily mascara.

I don’t often use mascara, mainly because I would look like a raccoon at the end of the day. I’m also not very skilled at doing makeup, so I often just have a bare face. I do like curling my lashes, though. It really does open up the eyes! While in Vietnam, I complained about wanting my eyelashes to stay curled but not having a good mascara. My aunt recommended this to me. After trying it, I was absolutely amazed! It kept my curl and doesn’t smudge under my eyes. Other mascaras make my eyelashes droop and always smudge under my eyes, even if they’re waterproof. I don’t really use too much mascara, just a little bit at the edge of my eyelashes to darken them up. I prefer a fluttery look to my eyelashes. So, I can’t say much about other properties that other people may value in a mascara. But for what I need it for, it does an amazing job! I don’t use it everyday but whenever I want to feel special, I always apply some and it boosts my confidence.  It’s the best mascara I’ve ever used!

Throwing mascara out when I finish reviewing

As much as it looks good on and lasts a long time, it eventually clumps up. Also, this mascara fails any removal test. I’ve tried soap and water, makeup remover wipes, even Vaseline, and special oil makeup remover. These products usually never fail to remove mascara but they would not remove this. My eyes are now burning, half my eyelashes are gone, and I still have mascara on them. I’d give it 0/5 stars but that’s not an option. Please don’t buy this if you have nice eyelashes because they won’t stay that way.
