Great For Beginners

I recently just got back into the wonderful world of make-up,!! After 20yrs of not wearing anything.! And I fell in love with these duo eyeshadow sticks. Perfect blend of colors, easy to apply and blend. They pair great with other eyeshadows also and don't smudge. Love this

Great concept, but disappointed in the color

I was very sad that my absolute holy grail of eyeliners that is my daily staple (Me and My Shadow in chocolate brown) was being discontinued, but hopeful that this would basically be the same thing. The concept of having two shadows in one pencil is great, as the brush for Me and My Shadow wasn't very good and it was expensive to just get one color and a brush that didn't work very well. However, when I got this, I was disappointed in the color. I got the Dawn/Dusk stick. The Dawn color was not what I had expected. While Me and My Shadow in Chocolate is a beautiful, rich, warm medium brown that accents brown eyes beautifully, this is a duller, darker "meh" brown. I also noticed that the formula seems a little more creamy, and so it smudges more easily, which is not a plus for me. It seems like it's not waterproof? It is a little too slippery and tends to go where it shouldn't, while Me and My Shadow had just the right amount of "pull" to it. It does kind of bother my eyes if it gets in there, while I have NEVER had that issue with Me and My Shadow. Eyeko, if you are reading this, PLEASE bring back Me and My Shadow or make a product that is the same formulation and color as it!! Especially the chocolate brown! PLEASE!!!! I don't know what I'm going to do when I run out of it!!! Maybe Me and My Shadow + a smudge sponge on the other end instead of a brush? This is a great concept, but the mediocre color + possible formula changes just didn't work for me.

I was hesitant purchasing this pencil eyeshadow because I loved the previous Fat Stick eyeshadow and Me and My Shadow eyeshadow and how creamy they were. Sadly Eyeko keeps discontinuing my fav eyeshadow sticks. I was worried this pencil would not offer the same creamy application and be dry. It is creamy and it does come with a pencil sharpener to resharpen the pencil. I still prefer the automatic sticks that do not require sharpening because I feel so much product is wasted during the sharpening process. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase, but really miss my previous stick eyeshadows that Eyeko discontinued. I worry the same will happen to this product. Eyeko please create and keep a good creamy stick shadow we can depend on.

I have been wearing Black Magic for years.    I love that it’s very dramatic and flattering!   I am asked by strangers, “what mascara am I wearing”, so I know it’s an outstanding mascara.    I don’t anticipate switching mascaras because this is my go to!
